Fatality History

Chapter 1: The Beginning.
Around May-June 2005, there was a clan called Noobsquad. It was a pure clan that was made for fun.
Led by Xxxbrighteyes and Noobranger 1(R0on scimmy and R00n Scimmy), NS was a few weeks old with a good 15-20 members. There had also been another pure clan around with our levels called EOP (Empire of Pures) led by 3 Hit u Pure. Noobsquad had declared a capped war of a 3×3(?) and NS had defeated EOP. Then days after Noobsquad had decided to have an alliance, a couple days later EOP had become very inactive and 3 Hit U Pure wanted a merge with Noobsquad. Members of NS discussed this and agreed it was in their best interest to merge. These two clans might also have been some of the first massed pure clans of Runescape 2.

Chapter 2: Ez Ownage [EO] is Born!
The merge was happening, from EOP there was 3 Hit u Pure, Soostrong, Dj p00n j00, Bunnyranger0 , Tieu2atree, Trxs Pure, Judge Ownage,
from NS there was Xxxbrighteyes, Noobranger 1, Frogx, Cosmo neb Pk, xFlame eyesx, Rang3 to Own,aghurdead, b0ssman, die dude01/lunar pk, del0nge, xox hawt xox a few others. The name was chosen to be Ez Ownage. 3 Hit u Pure created the forums and things were under way. The Requirements’s at the time were 55+.

Chapter 3: The First Pk trip
I was busy training range at lessers on Karamja when I got pmed by judge ownage to come to a pk trip with EO. It was our first pk trip and we got about 60-70 wildy opts, which was excellent for an unofficial pk. We got many kills, some of which I got and took a pic of =)

After this pk trip many more great people came, and we got a lot of new members such as: M1ght3y m4g3, Melee eleven, Range eleven, Pk arrow007, Diavil1, Flip516, Flipspurest and many more.

Chapter 4: Many wars

Ez Ownage was getting big and thought it was time for some wars, we declared war on Knights of Ownage (KOO) and won. We warred them a 2nd time and also won, a few weeks or so later we warred EP(Elitepurez) at hill-giants, we won again. And once when we were on a pk trip we ran into heaps and heaps of lvl 40 rangers wearing red capes. They called themselves TP (the pures) we ran into them at giants and asked for a mini-war, they accepted. It was to take place at gds, they dded near gds and ran in. They got owned pretty much and we had 6 ppl left at the end (one of which was me). After those wars we started to get more publicity and more members some of which were: Just gangsta, just Fall, 0 Conker 0, deathArro2, Trane2lumby, Pur3c4rn4g3, Nippon Mage, and many more. Our requirements were also raised to 65+ / 70+

Chapter 5: Ez Ownage makes some Rivals
EO pked a lot and when we pked we usually ran into EP (elitepures) we ran into them so much we started to hate each other, we had countless of mini wars at giants and hills and started to flame each others boards like crazy, and to make it worse EP got some allies called VIP (very important pkers). They flamed us with EP and had many joint pks with EP so EO formed a hatred to VIP aswell, TP and EO were neutral at the time. One of our new members at the time was bigphatmike… and he liked flaming. He flamed every single one of our members and to help him was xz punage zx (l3ts pk1) and on one pk trip they went too far bsing one of our members that I was freinds with. They killed him and so I killed them… they left EO and formed a new clan called FP or something?
Luckily enough it didnt last and died. Our req’s were raised to 75+

Chapter 6: Inactive Invasion
School was getting the better of our leaders r00n r0on 3hit and Trxs, and our warlord Judge Ownage quit runescape. EO was going downhill. Txs trained up his attack 10+ combat and decided to leave. r0on was m.i.a. r00n and 3hit were doing their best but couldnt help… EP also had this problem and they disbanded and made a new clan called Destined Pures (DP). DP declared war on EO… EO declined and were declared inactive. Most members left and only the truly loyal stayed. The forums got closed down…. it was a very sad day.

Chapter 7: Supreme Ownage is born

3hit joined a new clan called Supreme Ownage, led by agressor, and chibi being high council. Many EO saw this and decided it was a good clan and also joined along with 3hit, 3hit was made leader and SO was born. Reqs were 75+

Chapter 8:Supreme Ownage runs smoothly

SO earned a lot of publicity from pure sites and gained a lot of new members, including I Sc1m1tar I,jack2004inet and many more good active members. We raised our reqs to 77+ which was thought to be a good rounded number. And we introduced the voting board. The voting board was used by EOP (empire of pures) and suggested by soostrong to be used with EO but it never happened. The voting board is a good opportunity for members to get a post count and express their opinion thus making the members happier =)

Chapter 9: Applications fly in!

SO got at least 5 new members daily which resulted in a new rank “forum staff”. Soostrong got this new rank and helped the leaders move the applicants to voting board. SO pk trips were going great at the time and we started having P2P trips, and us and DP hadn’t been flaming each other so much, so everything was going good for SO. I also made up the term s0wnage which was used by every1 =p new members at the time were, eggy, august 24 o4. Ezi pk and soostrong made a new account called h1t m4n.

Chapter 10: The War with TNC (The Neggas Clan)

SO was getting bigger and decided it was time for a war, TNC were wanting to war us so we accepted and the war was put in place. We boxed at members gate awaiting the charge of the DEF FRooTZZX! lol and yes they did charge, they had many 90-100′s but we out organized them and came out with a big win =) new members at the time were D I P S E T (giving great publicity for SO with her/his vids) Iso Nuoli,Brendanoob and many more.

Chapter 11:The great depression
SO fell inactive again and lost some members and were m.i.a in the wildy so some new ranks were put forth with the high council and what not, with Range Eleven being high council and me getting forum staff.
We stayed active on forums and soon got back into shape. Reqs were raised to 80+. Some of the new members were P H O O D, punks last, 0 oo0 o,o 0oo0 o, ipkgoblins69.

Chapter 12: War with The Pures

Starting Options: ???
Ending Options: ???
Victorious

Video:

As the clan went smooth through out the months, the clan had grown in an extremely fast rate! 85 members was reached and we now knew we were ready for another full out war… and it was The Pures. VIP aka. Very Important Pkers had disbanded for some reason. Jibs2ndpure private messages 3 Hit u Pure to declare a Full Scale War. D-day: The Due date of the war against The Pures. Supreme Ownage masses Exactly 60(180 Wildy Options) members of Supreme Ownage out of 85 members, which was a great turn out. As the war went on, Supreme Ownage comes out with a glorious Victory! This war had officially put us above TP, thus ranking us Top 3 in pure clans!

Footage:

Chapter 13: New Arrivals
Weeks after the War against Tp, New Pure clans had been reborn, and or reborn such as Fade, The Last Pures, Gods of Destruction, Dreaded Victory, Roasted noobs, Legendary Pures, etc. But Supreme Ownage was ontop of those.

Chapter 14: The Juniors
Ever since Supreme Ownage Requirements had been raised to a 80+ combat stat, pure players of Runescape had became fans of Supreme Ownage and were training for it, in MASSIVE NUMBERS. The Leaders of Supreme Ownage discussed the plan of creating a junior clan for Supreme Ownage. Later on, days had continued to plan ways of starting a junior clan without causing too much trouble. Then out of nowhere, a clan called Ownage Pures had volunteered to be S0′s Junior clan because they were a low level clan made out of fans of Supreme Ownage. Weeks after, OP had been dying because of inactivity… 3 Hit u Pure then decides to create a new forum, new name, to transfer all the succesful members of Ownage Pures to recreate a more active clan to sort out the inactives. A new junior clan is born…the Sacred Pures.

Chapter 15: The Allies, the War, The Morale
Weeks later, Sacred Pures had grown in an EXTREMELY fast pace! Currently 78 Members in a couple of weeks had made them current top pure junior clan(If there were any other at the time). Sacred Pures then allied with Erruption of Pures . Meanwhile, The Pures had decided to declare war on both the allies. D-Day had come… both allies merge together at the war, ultimately massing 306 wildy options (102 Pures)!! This must have been the record for most pures in a war thus far. Great turnout, but bad loss. The war was crashed by Deathrow, and The Pures took the victory, but before the war both SP and EOP had a conflict which had lasted for 2-3 weeks so that might well have affected the result of the war…

Chapter 16: Supreme Ownage Legends
Former members of Ez Ownage, those who had stayed loyal and trustworthy were given a Specific Rank called the ‘ Supreme Ownage Legends’. They had earned a rank as the Legends of Supreme Ownage because of all the Months the clan had gone through. It was like a family and there were now well respected members such as Elders. Such ranks were given to F R O G X and M1ght3y M4g3. May our hearts be with you after all these months, concluding to 1 year. Jack was given high council around this time too.

Chapter 17: Declarations are made
Kyle declares full out war against FOE, He also declares 20v20 p2p against TP, although most members think of this as bad idea, putting aside the fact that it will help with the momentum of SO greatly. To help our inactive leaders, new ranks were chosen:

Soostrong-Co leader
I Sc1m1tar I -Co leader
Melee Eleven – High Council
I Be The Sin – High Council
Brendanoob – High council
Massabob – Forum staff
Eggy – Forum staff

Supreme Ownage won, with many options still left, but were accused of cheating since Rrune4 who was not apart of the clan because of his high level of defence, attended the clan war without being told to go, while having over 70 people seeing Rrune4 and telling him not to go. He didn’t listen.

Chapter 20: Ascended Pures
Supreme Ownage decided to move the clan from Supreme Ownage into a new site to basically get away from all the problems. Under the influence of I Sc1m1tar I, Supreme Ownage moved under the new name Ascended Pures. 2 Days pass and I Sc1m1tar I quits for Final Ownage Elite for some random reason during the switch of forums, causing more problems for the clan.

Chapter 21: Return Home
After Ascended Pures was reviewed by many people as a way to just get away from all the problems of flaming etc… 3 Hit decided that a move to Supreme Ownage was mandatory and that the switch from Supreme ownage into Ascended pures was a cowardly one. During this confusion many people left, along with Ezi pk, and 2 leaders, I Sc1m1tar I and 0 Agressor 0.

Chapter 22: Final goodbye
After Soostrong and 3 Hit U Pure tried to get the clan to stay together, they couldn’t handle the stress that involved both in-game and real life hassle to try and get things together, until finally it was decided that it was time to move on, and to just close down Supreme Ownage. Soostrong and 3 Hit U Pure announced that they both had quit the game, until further notice(3 Hit reason was till he got back in order, and Soostrong’s was until 3 Hit came back) and the clan had its final pk trip, this was announced on May 7, 2006.

Last Supreme Ownage Pk Trip.

More Than 210 Wildy Options – 70+ People Attended the last Supreme Ownage Pk Trip to mourn the ending of a Top Clan.

Chapter 23: Fatality, new beginning, or just another failureThe next day trx despair came up to 3 hit and told him to make a new clan along with beezlebub pk. At this time 3 Hit U Pure and soostrong had made new pures under the names h1t–m4n and 3 Fatal Hits. The leaders decided on making the name of this new clan Fatality and soon many old Supreme Ownage members along with wanna-bes joined up, to follow as well was Soostrongs new pure h1t–m4n(he later switched to h1t-m4n).

Chapter 24: Fatality, not a flop
Many had suspected fatality to be just another flop, but we stand here today saying proudly we didnt flop and continue to aim to be the best pure clan out there.

Chapter 25: The Long-Awaited Arrival…
0 Agressor 0 had joined FOE , but then with problems with FOE , Agressor thought the time was right and switched back to FI. He became a leader within 1 day and then following Agressor from FOE came 0 Cexy Pk 0 and Mute Pker.

Chapter 26: Fatality’s First War
Beezlebub Pk declared a 1 week prep official war on Destined Pures. They quickly accepted. Fatality won the war by a long shot, with about 140 opts remaining.

Chapter 27: Soostrong/H1t M4n and 0 Agressor 0 get def/quit rs
H1t M4n quit rs after deciding it was taking up too much time in his life. 0 Agressor 0 got defense. Many thought Fatality was going to die but we held it together. Rage Cutter and Flash Cutter are introduced as new Fatality leaders.

Chapter 28: Fatality vs Corrupted pures(X2 miniwars)
First Miniwar

FI ending opts: 0 options.
CP ending options: ???
Defeated

First of all, Corrupt Pures had declared on FI a few days ago since they were suppose to have a scheduled miniwar with Elitepurez, but they backed down so they decided to call upon other clans including FOE, MM, DP, AAO, and even ERP. All of them declined so it came to one choice, Fatality. FI accepted to fight their 93 options. Fatality had only a 10 minute preparation. With not much time to lose, we headed out with 63 options including me. Being outnumbered FI were then defeated. Rage Cutter + 3 Hit U Pure then asked for another mini-war with Corrupt Pures, but for this one it would be SCHEDULED as a 2 day preperation.

Fatality deathdotted at Greater Demons defending, CP had charged in with a level 3. Excessive spam had lagged the hell out of both clans but it all started in a Organization vs. Organization battle. All the skirmish had ended with good piling and spamming from both sides, Fatality had come out victorious. IT WAS A REALLY CLOSE FIGHT.

Chapter 29: Fatality vs The Last Pures(X2 Fullout war P2p and F2p

Agressor talked with Finnald about having a 1 month prep war for both p2p and f2p multi and non multi. They agreed on terms and rules were switched around MANY times, but once rules were set things were underway.

Chapter 30: Fatality vs Makers of Mayhem Full out F2p War.
December 9th, 2006

Before this war fatality was known as the most dominate f2p force in pure clans. Fatality was offered a few mini wars against Makers of Mayhem, they would not back down. Tension would begin to build up from the start of ‘MM pride’, being that no clan would war fatality, they had to do something not a lot of clans would do. Challenge Makers of Mayhem.

Beezlebub Pk set up the war with MM, it was official that Fatality would war Mayhem Makers, in a 16 day preparation – even though they were totally against the long preparation, it was time for a war.

The battle began-

Fatality Starting Options – 234
Mayhem Makers Starting Options – 270

Fatality Ending Options – 0
Mayhem Makers ending options – 125

Fatality was defeated.

Chapter 31: Inactive.

Not very long after the war with Mayhem Makers – Fatality was going inactive. The clan was down to under 70 members barely pulling any people for pk trips, The clans Founder 3 hit u pure was highly inactive, Flash Cutter had quit – was this the end?

In middle January of 2007, Fatality was due for a new leader, in hopes for success. The very new 4 month old Ieet is 42o was selected for the job.

The new leader was highly active thus benefiting Fatality, he was leading a good number of PK trips for over 2 months. Helped out the clan a lot for being new with no experience at leading.

Chapter 32: Ci vs X official full out war

Fatality and their good friends, Corrupt Pures decided it was about time to find a allied war. Fi and Cp had been on good terms for a while and when combined were the best allied pure force in Runescape.

They had asked AAO if there is any clans that they would be able to team with so that they could have the war they were looking for. AAO decides Brutality Pures would be their ally in the war. Brutality pures and Against all odds felt it was unfair, Fatality being a higher leveled clan, so they were allowed to bring a 3rd clan – KO Pures.

Ci Defends , X Attack. Overheads aloud.

Ci Starting opts – 340
X Starting opts – 350

Ci ending – 240
X ending – 0

Ci Victorious

Shortly after this war, Rage cutter had taken a break from Runescape. To add to that as time passed Flash Cutter had returned to his leadership position.

Chapter 33: Domination.

Fatality was back in action with over 100+ members, with the return of 3 Hit U Pure, the clan was killing every clan with no problems – Pulling 50+ people to every PK trip. Going to the top again at a fast pace.

The Leadership was now – 3 Hit U Pure, Beezlebub pk, Ieet is 42o, Flash Cutter. Also after Nurse__Sue was banned, and Mute Pker had become inactive from RuneScape two new Warlords where chosen, Zamguthsarah & Pure B K.

Fatality was now declaring wars with no one to accept once again.

Chapter 34: Fatality Vs Final Ownage Elite – Full out F2p War.
June 2nd, 2007

After declaring on most pure clans at there level – Fatality had decided to declare on Final Ownage Elite, and with their luck they accepted!

It was official Fatality would war Final Ownage Elite in F2P

Once on the battlefield Fatality headed out with 270 opts, on their way to the defending spot they got random bombed thus losing 10-15 people. Final Ownage Elite had walked up to wait for Fatality to get ready and got crashed by a masser clan, losing a good amount of people.
It was decided the war would become a fun war because of these incidents.

Fatality starting opts – 255
Final Ownage Elite starting opts – 225

Fatality ending Opts – 180
Final Ownage Elite ending opts – 0

Fatality Victorious.

Chapter 35: A new leader
June 12th, 2007

After the success of the upcoming fatality, after defeating Final Ownage Elite, Ieet is 42o had RL issues and was unable to play for a month. The clan decided that they needed an additional Leader to add to their success.

The new leader was chosen – Pure B K, also Zamguthsarah was promoted to High Council.

Chapter 36: Forum Hackings
June 20th, 2007

As the clan began to rise to glory, a terrible incident happens. Fatality clan forums were hacked, someone had gotten 3 Hit U Pure’s password and he was the only root admin.

Fatality had to re-make forums, losing 132k post count, it had to be done to remain a top clan.

To add to this, the clan had a lot of work to do, as they lost a lot of members – they began to go slightly inactive.

Chapter 37: Fatality vs Eruption Of Pures – Full out F2p War
October 13th, 2007

At this time Eruption of Pures were a very powerful F2p force,
Fatality had declared on Eruption of pures to reclaim their RAW ranking back. Fatality declares and they get declined for a 1 week preparation. The clan had now reclaimed the #2 spot.

Eruption of Pures did not like that and felt it was wrong that the day that was set for the war their leader could not attend. They then declared war on Fatality for their Raw rank back but this time it was a 2 week preparation.

Fatality is highly against long preparation wars but they felt like they needed to accept to keep there RAW spot.
It was official, EOP vs FI,

Fatality Starting Opts – 225
Eruption Of Pures Starting Opts – 228

Fatality ending Opts – 177

Chapter 38: New Era of PKing
Towards the end of the year 2007 strange things were happening in RS. Jagex had pushed on in their battle against real world traders, and the next phase was about to change RS PKing more than any update in RS2. On 10th December 2007 wildy was no more. Disturbed and disappointed pkers were introduced to new PvP areas to make up for loss of wildy, Bounty Hunter and Clan Wars were born. For Fatality and other pure clans losing wildy was a slap on the face… masses of pkers decided that the new PvP areas couldn’t compete with wildy and after days of rioting and ranting a lot of people quit, from Fatality as well as other clans. The people who decided to continue were left to wonder what to do with what was left of pure clan pking and community. The only option were BH and CLW.

Chapter 39: BH

The new PvP areas were a lot different from wildy, but Fatality wanted to continue PKing the best we could. Bounty Hunter was never ment as a PK arena for big clans, but it was the obvious first choice and it was where all pure clans first started pking again. Fatality was highly succesful in the first weeks of BHing and it was fun although it clearly could never be wildy.

However, on 19th of February 2008 Jagex decided to make BH nonmulti so it was no longer useful as an arena for clan fights.

Chapter 40: Pure Clan League – “Your clan is victorious!”

In early 2008 began the first series of Pure Clan Tournaments that took place in the new CLW arena. They were soon followed by the weekly PCL that took place in F2P on saturdays and later in P2P on sundays. Fatality was once again on the very top of F2P pure clans, although clans like CP, FOE and MM were not far behind…

Chapter 42: Training season and P2P PC

While the old wilderness was gone and solo pking wasn’t as attractive as it used to be, FI members had a lot of time on their hands. During the spring of 2008 our members trained more than ever to be prepared for the weekly PCLs (and to show off with skillcapes). This resulted in even more superiority on the battlefield, as well as a new emergin interest in P2P…

This being the state of things, FI decided to take a giant leap towards P2P and the results were immidiate. FI was now thriving for success in both F2P and P2P, and we were dominating once more as greatly as a year before. At the time Fatality leadership consisted of 3 Hit U Pure, Beezlebub Pk, Fury Storm with co-leaders Pure Ellie, V 3 R D 3, High Councils H P N O Ti Q, Darkmagic 2, Badb0yl0nd0n, Warlords Vlooieneuker and O X O and a lot of great members.

Overall P2P PCL was madness, with everyone bringing in the very best equipment and the amounts of damage delt growing insanely.

The topics remained unchanged: “Fatality Undefeated Weekend” was the topic of the Pure Community thread ever so often.

April 05, 2008 – War Day
Fatality Starting Options – 96
Fatality Ending Options – 64

Final Ownage Elite Starting Options – 81
Final Ownage Elite Ending Options – 0

Chapter 44: Summertime

During summer of 2008 FI remained as a clear #1, albeit not as dominating as the spring months. PCL weekends came and went and it was at times hard to get any fights from other clans. Fatality also made their entry on the RSC main clan RAW list in the top 10 with a devastating victory over Abyssal Vengeance, and in a few weeks we succesfully defended our spot against The Stricken Cards. FOE gave us a lot of tough fights in both F2P and P2P and the powerstruggle kept the momentum going.

Chapter 45: The new PvP!

On 15th of October 2008 Jagex announced the new all PvP worlds, and pure clans took this news with great anticipation.

At first the new wilderness was packed with clans. Due to the limited amount of PvP worlds FI was having trouble adjusting to the new circumstances – main clans would ever so often end our trip too early. Eventually pure clans moved on to fighting at lower wilderness levels, around clw, bh and hill giants. The times were not good for Fatality, the new PvP had proved to be disappointing and our activity was slacking. The domination of the summer before was all gone and real struggle was had with the other top pure clans.

However, FI prevailed and continued the fight as it ever has.

Chapter 46: Clan relations

Pure clan relations have never been anything stable or unaltered by time. Fatality has had its share of drama in relations with almost every pure clan that has ever existed. Allies and rivals change swiftly in the pure community and one weekend can change everything.

The new PvP brought along new ways of fighting. Pure clan fights started to look more and more like those of main clans; returning during fights was adapted to clan tactics, crashing became more usual and scouting and spying on other clans became evident. The fighting was intense and many people thought that it lacked the relaxed competition of the old wilderness or the community feeling of PCL.

This newly found rivalry brought along it many twists in clan relations. FOE had become a great force in the new PvP with help of numbers and organization and raised a lot of negative feelings from the clan community with some of its tactics. Fatality had the unforseen companionship of MM and it would sometimes happen on clusterfights that our clan members would not fight each other and target the other clans spontaneously. War makes strange bedfellows.

Chapter 47: Things stabilize

The new tactics had come to stay. PKing was not the same but it was important for Fatality to adjust, especially so because our activity was slacking. As everyone became accustomed with returning and scouting, PKing became a real cat & mouse play. Fatality stabilized its spot in the Top 3 with MM and FOE, with the absolute #1 spot being everything but clear.

So came the end of the year 2008 and the legacy continues with yet another generation of pures…

Chapter 48: New Year’s Eve – Old Year’s Night

At this time the Top 5 of all pure clans was pretty much as follows:

1. Fatality / Final Ownage Elite
2. Fatality / Final Ownage Elite
3. Epidemic / Mayhem Makers
4. Epidemic / Mayhem Makers
5. The Last Pures

Epidemic was the newcomer to the top clan list. Founded by Jibs2ndpure (Jibsie <3) in July 2007, Epidemic had made its way through the ranks of the lowbie and mid clans and was aiming for the very top of the pure clan list. Right now they were fighting hard for top 5, but by the end of the year they would be competing for the #1 spot.

Fatality was pulling 90+ on trips and rivalry was fierce with FOE, with James/Beezlebub Pk still active and leading trips.

Chapter 49: Videos
Fatality has always had a handful of great editors and famous pkers, with the help of both Fatality had announced our own Youtube channel Fatality Cinema at http://www.youtube.c…/FatalityCinema . The channel helped gather all the trip videos and solo videos of Fatality wrecking the wilderness. In November 2008 came out Project Fatality I, with great editing by I Haagen I , featuring months of great PK trips and solo pking.

Chapter 50: Full Out F2P War vs Mayhem Makers

14th February 2009
Throughout the history of Fatality, MM has always been the toughest full-out war opponent, with the best record against Fatality of all pure clans. This fight was expected to be the biggest pure war ever had, and it turned out to be just that.

Mayhem Makers FULL OUT vs Fatality, 100v100
Largest war of all time, 120+ People
Today FI and MM set history with the biggest pure war in history, MM pulled around 120 people FI had around 105 members, We headed to clan wars with high spirits and eager to prove what we’re made of. We knew it would not be easy as Fatality take Pride in their F2P warring ability, and they were no slouch. Big thanks to Fatality for putting up a fight, but we; the Mayhem Makers were untouchable today.
Round One:

Mayhem Makers starting: 97
Fatality starting : 100
-
Mayhem makers ending : 35
Fatality ending : 0

Round one was intense, even right ’til the end, MM only got the upper hand in the 50v50 territory fight and eventually won in one of the closest full out battles in FI history.

Round Two:

Mayhem Makers starting: 100
Fatality starting : 100
-
Mayhem makers ending : 57
Fatality ending : 0

Defending, Fatality got caught in a bad position but put up a fight. Mayhem Makers, with superior warring skills, eventually came out victorious in this fight.

Fatality was defeated.

Chapter 51: 3 Years of Fatality

James said:
Three years ago today Fatality was founded. Fatality has had its ups and downs, it’s seen and adapted to the changes Jagex have made to Runescape. And 3 years later, Fatality set out again with 255 options, peaking at 270 (90 people).

Fights vs FOE, MM and other top clans show that on our 3rd anniversary, May 9th 2009, we were still going strong and ready to face any other pure clan in wilderness.

Chapter 52: Summer

Summer 2009 was heated, the top 3 has countless fights that were rarely clean or clear when it comes to who won. Fatality was a little behind in opts, but with Beezlebub Pk leading and 3 Hit U Pure just coming back from a long break, we gave FOE and MM a fight after another.

Chapter 53: Doom and Gloom

Towards the end of the summer, Fatality was falling behind FOE and MM on opts. Still wanting to compete for #1, Fatality leadership made great efforts to improve activity and pulls as well as clan athmosphere. Unfortunately this led to a pressuring athmosphere that cost us more members, making our weekend trips hard, forcing us to fight the other top clans with great disadvantage in numbers.

What follows would become the biggest slump in the history of FI/SO/EO. But first…

Chapter 54: Pure Clan Tournament III

With our weekend trips being very bad and often even cancelled, a little spot of light was the P2P PCT, where we finished #2 after FOE, beating clans including MM, our biggest rival in P2P.

Jayhawk Pk said:
Fatality’s first P2P full out war since the first ever Pure Clan Tournament saw us facing Mayhem Makers, the makers of all mayhem.

With our game plan in mind we spread well and braced ourself for Mayhem Maker’s charge.

THEY CHARGED AND THE FIGHT WAS ON.

Fight 1;

Fatality Starting: 79
Mayhem Makers Starting: 82

Fatality Ending: 54
Mayhem Makers Ending: 0

Fight 2;

Fatality Starting: 81
Mayhem Makers Starting: 84

Fatality Ending: 62
Mayhem Makers Ending: 0

Victorious

The PCT III showed that we were definitely not dead despite the rumors around pure community… but how close were we to dying?

Chapter 55: Trouble beneath the surface

As if the bad trips were not enough, we were also suddenly losing our rank team.

James/Beezlebub Pk was moving on from RS and Fatality, Charles/3 Hit U Pure had long retired, only dropping on forums occasionally. Who would or could take their place as the leader of Fatality?

In September-October 2009, Krew Pk, Bryan/Pure_B_K and V 3 R D 3 shared leadership duties, and the rank team consisted of Shot Down9, Bl00d_Hexor, Fkb J, Hella 0wned, Zeddevil Pure and Like_M0nk

Pure_B_K and V 3 R D 3 both retired in october and Krew Pk was left alone in charge with a capable but inexperienced rank team. However, the rank team was also hit, bl00d and Fkb J both quit during the autumn, and Krew Pk was losing interest in the clan as well.

Eventually Krew Pk also quit, wanting to close FI down as he did. He was not alone, many ex-ranks and ex-members were now spreading rumors of FI dying even in our own IRC channel and forums, creating massive amounts of e-drama. But the rank team was not ready to give up on Fatality. During October 2009, the rank team decided it was time to move on and get rid of the troublemakers. On a coup d’état majority vote, Krew Pk and others were banned from forums and IRC, with a clear message: “Fatality will not close down, not now, not ever”.

Chapter 56: Who will save Fatality?

After losing half of our rank team in a disturbing way, who would have the dedication and activity to keep us together?

In the end of October, our new rank team had formed
Leader: Hella 0wned – Nick had been leading trips for months now and everyone could agree on this.
Warlord: Like M0nk, Shot D0wn9
Council: I Pk With Oj, Zeddevil Pure
Application Manager: Fkb_J, Nippon Q

The new rank team was dedicated, but lacked experience for the most part. The advisors and ex-ranks watched with growing pain as Area 51 was flooded with great and not-so-great ideas to improve the clan.

Chapter 57: Slumping

As expected by bright old schoolers like Nip, Zed and Mythic, the ideas did not work. Towards the end of 2009 we were still slumping.

We were barely in the Top 5 of pure clans with a ~70 memberlist and 30+ pulls. The good thing was that we were finally not only fighting the top 3 clans, but getting fights from anyone who pulled our numbers. The bad thing was the numbers itself, and the fact that we were not used to being outside top 3.

Chapter 58: 2010

A new decade came and Fatality was anxious to improve. We were now the underdogs. The people who would leave had already left and we had a solid memberbase, ready to be built on. So we did.

Epidemic closed down on February 5th 2010, and many of their members joined Destructive Pures, who had become a factor to consider in the top clan fights. Fatality was planning to get there too.

There were many rank changes over the months leaving the rank team as:
Leader: Hella 0wned
Co-Leader: Shot D0wn9
High Council: I Pk With OJ, A H M I D
Warlord: Like M0nk, Chilly, 0n3 Bl00d

Chapter 59: Rising

Fatality was finally starting to get decent pulls for trip, occasionally competing for the #1 spot… but a weekend here and there wasn’t enough for us.
Hella and Shot had retired, which left the leader rank for Davey/Like_M0nk, who proved to be an excellent leader in both trips and clanwise.

Recruiting was getting easier with improved community, and by March we were challenging DP for the #3 spot on both servers with 70+ pulls, week in and week out Fatality had amazing fights with DP which gave the inexpirienced ranks a chance to get more expirience, which we did. We cam out victourious and entered the top #3.

Chapter 60: 4th Anniversary and May 2010

Another year, the hardest year in the history of FI, and we were back to being undefeated for a saturday, after a break of almost 8 months. We pulled over 100 people to this trip and showed the pure world that Fatality still has it and would never lose it.

Outnumbering and beating all clans that we faced, Fatality was very hopeful of the upcoming weeks. The upcoming weeks heard our call, and 2 weeks later, last saturday as this topic is being written, we were once again undefeated.

What can I say… the good times feel better than ever after all the bad times we’ve had. Fatality forever

Chapter 61: June, Domination

Our anniversary gave us unparalleled momentum, and for the weeks to come, we set our eyes on MM, and Foe. Neither clan was prepared for us, and we spent the entire month defeating both with ease. We were with no doubt #1 again.

Chapter 62: July, The Downfall

After the last week of June, our forums were yet again hacked. Even through that we set out for the first weekend without our forums with our heads held high, and knew we would be able to continue our momentum. We were successful, and neither MM, or Foe were able to bring us down with our pulls of 80 + still continuing. The week leading to the second week without forums showed many signs of downfall, and we realized we couldn’t keep this up much longer. We were right.

By the end of July, the clan whom hacked us began rising, while we began falling.

Chapter 63: August, The Fight For #3

EoP continued to uphold a mindset of hatred towards us due to us targeting them after the hacking. They were not able to compete with us directly, but instead resorted to a much easier form of offense, crashing. We were not easily defeated, and continued defeating them for most of the month in F2P, with P2P being a more than easy feat.

DP closed at the end of the month, and with EoP being both clan’s rivals, a lot of them decided to come to Fatality. Fatality once again began competing with Foe, and MM. However, we were once again met with a forum crisis, one that we know all too well. Our forums were once again down for two weeks straight, but this time we couldn’t hope to maintain momentum.

Chapter 64: September, The Second Downfall

The month of September was one we will look back on as another 2009 only this time with a different regrowth. We once again lost half a rank team, only this time in 2 weeks time. We struggled to regain balance afterward, but the choices to follow proved to help us reclaim what we had.

Chapter 65: October, A New Beginning

The month of October was anything but domination. We were struggling to get back on our feet after the forum hacking, and the loss of many ranks. After the losses of September, we promoted many new faces to keep this clan together. The new rank team was:

Leader: Davey
Co-Leader: Ssj4
High Council: Freryd2lumby, Ahmid
Warlord: 101 Sins

We were able to maintain 40 pulls for most of the month, and never allowed ourselves to fall to a non competitive state as we did after the last slump.

Chapter 66: November, Balance

In the month of November, we began holding a strong stance once again in the community. We were no longer slumping, instead growing. We introduced a new rank to the team, and also an old face made a return.

Our rank team was now:
Leader: Davey
Co-Leader: Ssj4, I Pk With OJ
High Council: Freryd2lumby, Skillzy
Warlord: 101 Sins

At the end of the month, our pulls were in the mid 40′s sometimes 50′s.

Chapter 67: December, Growth

The month of December 2010 is one we can all be proud of. We were gaining opts weekly, and by the end of the month we were once again pulling 70. We ended 2010 with a bang. We are on a 7 winning streak in preps without losing a round proving our superb organization. We’re now going into 2011 ready to do the brew. This will be the year we retake #1, only this time, for good.
